JTG has drawn a lot of negativity from wrestling fans who are upset with him for saying unpleasant things about WWE. They're also disenchanted with him because he's upset about his bonus check from WrestleMania 28.
While no one within the Internet wrestling community really knows the exact amount that JTG makes annually with WWE, the assumption is that he's making more than $50,000 and less than $100,000. Many feel that he should be happy with whatever bonus check he received for WrestleMania 28 because he makes more money than the average person.
Many people would love to make $50,000 to $100,000 a year. Those numbers are a bit inflated though, especially to fans who haven't closely paid attention to what these performers go through. That amount of money is not what the wrestlers take home.
At the highest estimate, JTG makes $8000 a month. Being on the road four days a week certainly isn't cheap, and it certainly isn't free. The former Cryme Tyme member has to pay for lodging, transportation, food and various other expenses that inconveniently pop up while traveling.
When JTG isn't on the road, he can't simply put the remaining portion of his paycheck into a savings account. He has other living expenses as well when he's at home. WWE doesn't provide health insurance to the performers, so there's another deduction from that paycheck.
When all is said and done, there's not a lot left over. He might be making more money than the average person, but that doesn't mean that he has to think like one. $1000 is still $1000, so JTG has every right to be upset about whatever his WrestleMania 28 bonus check may be.
