There has been a so-called 'Madden Curse' that has made its way through the past stars that have made the cover of the famous video game. NFL stars who appeared on the cover include Eddie George, Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick and Donovan McNabb. All of these stars either injured themselves shortly after appearing on the cover or saw their career decline.
Calvin Johnson doesn't believe in the curse, and for good reason. Many of the stars who were injured would never have blamed it on them being on the cover of a video game.
